About us
ITLR
‘In the long run’ (ITLR) is an international project owned by Oasis Belgium, which has been operating as a social enterprise since 2013. The project supports the objectives and work of Oasis Belgium by raising awareness of, and campaigning against, human trafficking whilst raising funds to support the delivery of Oasis Belgium, world-wide Oasis, and other projects associated with human trafficking.
ITLR works closely in association with the Oasis charity STOP THE TRAFFIK.
Oasis
Oasis is a worldwide family of organisations working to help the most marginalised to find community, choice and hope. Oasis is a Christian organisation motivated by the belief everyone should be treated with respect and dignity.
Oasis Belgium
Oasis Belgium has been a registered Belgian non-profit organisation since 2007. We are registered as Oasis Belgium VZW BE 0887.307.203
The work of Oasis Belgium primarily revolves around those affected by, or vulnerable to, human trafficking. Oasis Belgium works in both Brussels and Antwerp delivering a series of projects that support people who have been affected by human trafficking or who are known to be particularly vulnerable to the exploits of traffickers. Through these projects we seek to increase the choices that people have to rebuild a life and be part of an inclusive and welcoming community.
Partners
In the long run aims to support the efforts of local anti-human trafficking groups in the locations it visits to effectively campaign against human trafficking, to provide and support the provision of information to communities and individuals about how and where they might receive support in regard to human trafficking, and/or how to report trafficking.
